Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate’s Life for Me!

Pirates are taking over midcoast Maine! Good Pirates, of course. This weekend Pirates invade Damariscotta as a fundraising event for charity and next week they take over Boothbay Harbor for Windjammer Days!

To join the fun, we’re doing a special Pirate Tales Tour tomorrow (6/22) for a school group in the morning; and at night if you mention “Pirates” when making your reservation, we’ll donate 20% to the local charity that the Pirates are benefiting! If you ask your guide, Christine, very nicely, she might even tell a pirate tale or 2!

Next week, during Windjammer Days, we’ve tweaked our tours so that there’s some focus on Pirates in Maine (particularly the Boothbay Harbor Area) – yes, there  really were! We’ll also tell a bit about Windjammer history in Boothbay Harbor along with some ghosts, of course!

So… Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of… your choice!

Tour Options Available

I’ve had a couple of requests lately for daytime walks – yes, we are certainly available for daytime tours if that is what works better for you and your group! Mysteries and ghosts are not around only in the evenings…

Other options that we have for tours include (but are not limited to) fireside tales at your home or cottage (or maybe even inn), driving tours of midcoast haunts, historical tours only, camp or school groups, seafaring tales, private tours, cemetery tours, family reunions, birthday parties, themed tours, etc.

Of course some of the above would need advance notice, some would have a different price structure, and all would be based on availablity.

Father’s Day

Sunday is Father’s Day! $1.00 off for all Dad’s on the tour! There is only one haunted history tour available that evening – first come, first serve… which midcoast Maine town will it be? Join The Lady in the Red Cloak and give Dad a fun evening out! Call or e-mail!

Winter and History in Maine

Apparently we’re not finished with winter in Maine, yet – it didn’t get to 20 degrees today! I hope the ghosts are staying warm! It certainly is nice to read by the fire as I’m learning more history about the midcoast Maine areas where we have our Haunted History Tours.

It’s a long weekend! The colors are beautiful, the sun is shining and there’s a fest of some sort in every midcoast town! We have several tours going on every evening this weekend – join us after your fun filled day of pumpkins, train rides, scarecrows, apples, etc.!

Many of the places we talk about on our tours are on the National Historic Register. Midcoast Maine is rich in history; we’d love to share it with you!

We are in full tour mode here at Red Cloak Haunted History Tours. Bath tours begin on Thursday, July 8 and we have a tour somewhere in midcoast Maine almost every night of the week! Everyone has been very supportive, thank you!
